These Terms of Use govern your use of Bodix. By downloading, accessing, or using Bodix, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Bodix is a personal body-tracking tool. It is not medical advice, diagnostic software, or a guaranteed archival, compliance, or disaster-recovery service.
Bodix Service
Bodix is software for logging body weight, tracking measurements, reviewing progress, importing Apple Health data, and synchronizing through Apple services where available.
Because Bodix is currently in pre-release, features may change, move, or be removed as the product evolves.
License
Subject to these terms and any applicable Apple platform terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Bodix for your personal lawful use.
- You may not resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app except as permitted by applicable law.
- You may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- You may not use the app in a way that violates law or interferes with the normal operation of the service.
Your Data and Responsibility
You remain responsible for the body data and measurements you choose to store in Bodix.
- You are responsible for reviewing your own entries and for deciding how to interpret them.
- You are responsible for maintaining backups or exports if that matters to you.
- You should not rely on Bodix as a substitute for medical guidance, diagnosis, or treatment.
Health and Accuracy Disclaimer
Bodix is a tracking tool, not a medical device or healthcare provider.
- Measurements and summaries may contain user error, imported-data issues, sync delays, or interpretation mistakes.
- You are responsible for decisions you make based on the data you record or import.
- If you have medical questions, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Apple Services
Bodix may depend on Apple Health, iCloud, CloudKit, and other Apple platform services.
- Availability depends on Apple, your device, your operating system, your locale, and your account settings.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of Apple-provided services.
- If iCloud or Apple Health access is unavailable, some Bodix features may be limited.
App Changes and Availability
We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue some or all Bodix features at any time, especially during pre-release development.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bodix is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, sync failures, health-record inaccuracies, or other losses arising from your use of Bodix.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we may revise the effective date and publish the updated version through the website or another appropriate product surface.
